Toothed breaker rolls

Breaker rolls reduce oversized seeds and seed clusters between counter-rotating rolls — material too large or too fibrous to go straight into a cracker's tighter roll gap, which sunflower seed and cottonseed often are.

Roll surfaces are smooth for gentle reduction with few fines, corrugated for shearing uniform oversized seed, or toothed for fibrous material that has to be gripped and torn. An adjustable roll gap sets output particle size on any of them, and the surfaces are hardened for continuous duty.

Rated for 50-500 TPD lines, feeding the Seed Cracker downstream. If your feedstock arrives consistently sized, a cracker alone may be enough — we'll say so before you buy both.

Every Breaker Rolls is built to your plant’s throughput at our Pithampur works in India and exported to solvent extraction plants and oil mills abroad — 22+ countries across five continents to date. Capacity, drive rating, your supply voltage and frequency, and the interfaces to the machines either side of it are all settled before fabrication starts.

Key Features

  • Specialized surface configurations for different applications
  • Hardened roll surfaces for extended service life
  • Precise gap adjustment controls particle size
  • Robust construction for continuous operation

Applications

  • Large seed breaking (sunflower, cottonseed)
  • Seed cluster separation
  • Pre-cracking preparation

Export Supply and Shipping

  • Shipping: Containerised in sub-assemblies where the machine’s envelope allows, otherwise flat rack or break bulk; FOB Nhava Sheva or Mundra, or CIF your port.
  • Electrics to destination: Motors, gearboxes and panel built for your supply — 380, 400, 415 or 440 V at 50 or 60 Hz — and CE marked where required.
  • Packing: Product-contact surfaces cleaned and wrapped, machined faces preserved against sea air, and everything crated on ISPM-15 heat-treated timber.
  • Erection support: General arrangement, foundation and utility drawings at order; a commissioning engineer can be deputed to run the machine in on your own feedstock.
  • Documents and payment: Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, material test certificates and bill of lading; quoted in US dollars.

Frequently Asked Questions

What throughput do your breaker rolls handle?

Lines from 50 to 500 TPD, with an adjustable roll gap to control output particle size.

Which roll surface should I choose?

Smooth for gentle size reduction with minimal fines, corrugated for uniform oversized seed, and toothed for fibrous or clustered material. Specify the surface against a sample of your actual feedstock — batch variation within the same crop can be significant.

Is the breaker rolls customised to my requirement?

Yes. Every machine we build is custom-engineered — capacity, dimensions, and configuration are matched to your line. Send your requirement via the enquiry form or call +91 91091 02280 for a firm quote.

Can you export the Breaker Rolls and support the erection at our plant?

Yes. We have supplied oil seed processing equipment to buyers in 22+ countries across five continents. The machine is containerised in sub-assemblies where its envelope allows, and a commissioning engineer can be deputed to erect it and run it in on your own feedstock.

Starting from: $4,500
