Pipe rotators turn a pipe under a fixed welding head, so a circumferential weld can be laid in one continuous pass instead of the welder walking round the joint.

Every Pipe Rotator is engineered to your process at our Pithampur works in India and exported to plants in 22+ countries across five continents. Capacity, control scheme and the voltage and frequency of your own supply are fixed before fabrication, and the machine is trial run at the works — under your inspector’s witness if you ask for it — before it is packed for sea.

Key Features

  • Motorized self-aligning rollers
  • Variable speed for welding control
  • Tilting for optimal positions
  • Height adjustment capability

Applications

  • Pipe welding and fabrication
  • Oil and gas pipeline construction
  • Pressure vessel fabrication

Export Supply and Shipping

  • Shipping: Containerised where the machine’s envelope allows, otherwise flat rack, open top or break bulk; FOB Nhava Sheva or Mundra, or CIF your port.
  • Electrics to destination: Motors, drives and control panel built for your supply — 380, 400, 415 or 440 V at 50 or 60 Hz — and CE marked where required.
  • Packing: Sub-assemblies crated on ISPM-15 heat-treated timber, machined faces preserved against sea air, and hydraulic circuits drained and blanked.
  • Erection support: Foundation and utility drawings issued at order; a commissioning engineer can be deputed to your plant, or erection supervised remotely.
  • Documents and payment: Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, material test certificates and bill of lading; quoted in US dollars.

Frequently Asked Questions

What pipe sizes can the rotator handle?

Pipes from 100 to 3000 mm diameter and loads up to 100 ton, with rotation speeds of 0.2-30 RPM and tilting up to ±45 degrees.

How is the pipe rotator controlled during welding?

By foot pedal, control panel, or wireless remote — foot pedal control keeps both of the welder’s hands free while the pipe turns at a steady, adjustable speed.

Is the pipe rotator customised to my requirement?

Yes. Every machine we build is custom-engineered — capacity, dimensions, and configuration are matched to your line. Send your requirement via the enquiry form or call +91 91091 02280 for a firm quote.

Do you export the Pipe Rotator, and will it run on our supply voltage?

Yes on both counts. We have shipped to buyers in 22+ countries across five continents, and motors, drives and the control panel are built for your own supply — 380, 400, 415 or 440 V at 50 or 60 Hz. The machine is trial run at our works before packing, under your inspector’s witness if you ask for it.
